Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Training and Development Manager to spearhead our organizational training strategy, oversee its implementation, and assess its outcomes.

This role involves identifying training and developmental needs, driving suitable training initiatives that foster loyalty to the firm, and working across multiple departments to ensure employees are up-to-speed in their specific verticals and company-wide needs.

The ideal candidate will have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development, and education.

Responsibilities:
  • Needs Assessment: Identify and assess future and current training needs.
  • Training Planning: Develop overall or individualized training and development plans.
  • Training Delivery: Deploy a wide range of training methods, responsible for training delivery for new hires, refreshers, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Program Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate training programs' effectiveness, success, and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Ongoing Development: Provide opportunities for ongoing development.
  • Team Management: Strategically manage the workload and workflows for the training team, setting up the right organizational structures to support all lines of business and workflows.

Communication and Collaboration: Proactively communicate with clients on daily operational matters relating to training. Partner with operational teams to ensure refresher training needs are identified and delivered.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Financial Crime experience of at least 5 years is a must.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience in AML KYC CDD and EDD Domain.
  • Technical Skills: Good with Microsoft Office, strong with MIS reporting.
  • Analytical and Operations Skills: Strong analytical and operations management skills.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: Client-focused with superior written and verbal communication skills, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with limited structure.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven work experience as a Training Manager, track record in designing and executing successful training programs.
  • Training Methods: Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in-classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc).
  • Time Management: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to plan, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
