Job Title: Frontend Developer

We are seeking a talented React developer to join our dynamic team. As a skilled and experienced frontend developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing user interface components using React.js concepts and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new user-facing features using React.js principles
  • Build reusable and efficient components and libraries for future use
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code that meets the highest standards of performance and functionality
  • Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to high-quality code standards
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in front-end development
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development and in production environments
  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Mentor and assist junior developers when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in React.js development
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Redux or MobX)
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM)
  • Proficient in using version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with responsive web design and mobile development
  • Proven track record of delivering public-facing websites (please share portfolio/examples)
  • Implement smooth, engaging animations and interactions using libraries like GSAP, Framer Motion, or WebGL
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme)
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies
