Automotive Powertrain Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, integrate, and maintain Python scripts and automation tools that align with existing codebases.
- Utilize state-of-the-art AI tools to develop solutions meeting quality, performance, and functionality requirements.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code with proper architecture, documentation, and robust error handling.
- Design, implement, and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks like pytest or unit test, ensuring high test coverage and meaningful assertions.
- Optimize existing scripts for performance, maintainability, and readability.
- Follow and enforce consistent coding standards and modern Python practices.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support ongoing improvement of development practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum Engineering Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics or Mechanical or equivalent.
- Min 4-6 years of core experience in Automation using python/MATLAB/C-coding for Automotive SW development.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean coding practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in designing GUI using Python or MATLAB to optimize workflow.
- High analytical and conceptual skills and ability to work independently.
