About the Role

The Staff Engineer is a key member of an agile product development team, responsible for designing and developing complex software applications that drive healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads significant initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.
  • Establishes best practices and standards for the team to follow.
  • Provides guidance and support to colleagues, helping them grow as engineers and achieve their full potential.
  • Identifies opportunities to leverage technology and data analytics to transform healthcare into a safer and more cost-effective industry.
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated, self-learner, and technically inquisitive individual with a passion for innovation.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in multiple server-side programming languages (Java with Spring Boot experience preferred).
  • Experience with client-side programming languages (JavaScript React experience preferred) and microservices architecture.
  • Proven track record of developing, deploying, and supporting REST services and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code practices and ability to apply them effectively.
  • Experience working with relational databases, non-relational databases, and messaging systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum level of education or equivalent work experience: Bachelors or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, IT.
