Design Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Head of Design in managing design deliverables, ensuring adherence to company standards and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in creating and periodically updating the company's design playbook, incorporating lessons learned, benchmark standards, and evolving best practices.
  • Conduct test fits and feasibilities on new land proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead coordination across consultants and design disciplines to drive project success.
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality design from concept to completion.
  • Validate design compliance with branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks.
  • Support the implementation of SOPs and version control to maintain consistency and accuracy.
  • Flag deviations and escalate unresolved design issues to ensure seamless project progression.
Growth Alignment:

The Design Associate will act as a central engine driving design standardization, enabling faster rollout across our expansion strategy.

Reporting & Collaboration:

Reporting to the Head of Design, the Design Associate will partner closely with Project Management (PMO), Pre-development, and Construction teams for successful project delivery.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8-10 years of experience in design management across commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
  • Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven expertise in delivering design projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks.
