SAP Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled SAP functional consultant to join our organization at Tata Consultancy Services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing consulting services on integrated business planning.

About the Role

As a SAP functional consultant, you will be responsible for developing and implementing integration solutions using SAP CI-DS to connect SAP IBP with other systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA or external applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure data flows, mappings and scripts within CI-DS to manage data transfer between IBP and other systems.
  • Identify, diagnose and resolve issues related to integration workflows and data quality.
  • Involvement in business process design, analysis of requirements and development of a functional solution (blueprint) for to-be business processes.
  • Design, configure, develop and implement SAP functional modules.
  • Development of functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflow and forms.
  • Configuration: Experienced in all IBP modules, including time series and order series planning.
  • Experience in DP, SP, IO and Response planning.
  • The incumbent must possess good exposure to handle all project activities including design discussion, co-ordination with multiple streams for integration processes, cutover activities etc.
  • Must have effective communication skills which the incumbent should use in clearly articulating the functional process knowledge to the business community.
  • Self-motivated and managed, exceptional follow-through.
  • Ability to independently prioritize and complete tasks in a structured manner.
  • Strong ability to interface and cultivate good working relationships across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Experience of working on support procedures, protocol and culture of large support teams.
  • Should have worked on large and complex enhancement(s).

Key Skills:
Experience in SAP CI-DS and integration with SAP IBP.
