The Role

  • Leads the development of software solutions using Agile methodologies, possessing excellent communication and problem-solving skills to drive project success.
  • Designs and develops high-performance, scalable, and reliable software systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices technologies.
  • Collaborates closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Transforms visionary concepts into enterprise-wide systems.
  • Coordinates with stakeholders on architectural designs and software development, ensuring compliance with best practices and policies.
  • Performs code reviews, providing feedback to team members to maintain code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Provides technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Maintains system integrity by utilizing proper architectural designs.
  • Advises on security methods and implements them.
  • Develops and deploys Java applications.
  • Creates strategic, logical, and physical designs.
  • Ensures products or projects are robust, scalable, and extensible.
  • Expertise in using Agile methodologies.
  • Analyzes user requirements to define business objectives.
  • Envisions system features and functionality.
  • Defines application objectives and functionality.
  • Ensures application designs conform with business goals.
  • Identifies and resolves technical issues.
  • Writes well-designed, testable code.
  • Conducts software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
  • Supports continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Databases (Postgres), Web Services (REST, SOAP), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring 4.0, Hibernate/JPA, API Gateway, and Microservices functional validation.
  • 13 years of experience in developing software solutions using event-driven architecture design principles.
  • Experience with Kafka, Karate, Selenium, PCF, Integration patterns, Security standards, Concurrency, and Multithreading.
  • Hands-on high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to function independently under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Distributed systems (Databases, caches, microservices, message broker).
  • API and Contract Testing using REST Assured/Postman/Swagger/SOAP UI, Groovy, Spring Cloud Contract.
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodology and Unit Testing using JUnit/XCTest.
  • Use of mocking frameworks such as API Service Virtualization/Mockito/OCMock.
  • Static Code Analysis using SonarQube/Xcode Static Analyzer.
  • Good knowledge of Maven, JUnit, Redis, Oracle database, SQL, Unix command shell, and scripting.
  • Proven experience in Agile methodology, SDLC, and implementation of projects, debugging applications.
  • Good knowledge of tools like Sonar, Datadog/Dynatrace, GIT, SVN, Rally/Jira, CI (Jenkins/Bamboo), CDSplunk.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong relationship, collaborative skills, and organizational skills.
