Job Title: Precision ProgrammerWe're seeking a seasoned Python programmer to spearhead our SAS-to-Python migration initiative.The ideal candidate will possess strong Python programming skills, with experience in developing, maintaining and optimizing applications using SAS and Python.
  • Developing, maintaining and optimising applications using SAS and Python.
  • Migrating existing SAS programs, data pipelines and statistical models into Python-based frameworks.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze existing processes and define migration strategies.
  • Ensuring performance optimisation, data accuracy and compliance during the migration process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test and deploy Python-based applications.
  • Analyse existing SAS processes and recommend migration strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and security throughout the migration process.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark).
  • Hands-on experience with SAS programming (Base SAS, SAS Macros, PROC SQL, SAS Data Step).
  • Proven experience in SAS-to-Python migration projects.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience in ETL pipelines, data processing and automation.
