Java Lead Job Description

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in backend development, with at least 2 years as a technical lead or architect.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, AWS API Gateway, and microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native application patterns and distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker), orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), and deployment on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Good understanding of both relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Required Skills:
  • Programming skills: Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud is required. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is also necessary.
  • Database management: Strong understanding of both relational (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases is essential.
  • Cloud architecture: Solid understanding of cloud-native application patterns and distributed systems is required.
