**Senior Consultant Specialist Role Description**
Overview of the PositionThis is a senior-level professional role within our organization, focusing on application development and deployment for high-stakes financial systems.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in developing mission-critical applications, with expertise in front-to-back system architecture, DevOps, and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop scalable and reliable front-to-back system solutions for bonds, credit derivatives, and IR derivatives trading.
- Collaborate with IT management to propose and deliver sustainable solutions, encompassing business use cases, DevOps, infrastructure, resiliency, and monitoring.
- Contribute to enhancing our tech stack and processes by exploring new-age tooling and implementing improvements.
- A minimum of 9 years of experience supporting high-availability applications.
- Hands-on proficiency in core Java and microservices architecture, with applied design principles.
- Prior experience in valuation engine development and quants engagement is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with nosql dbs, postgres, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Good hands-on experience with Google Cloud (GCP), project infrastructure setup, and well-versed with DevOps tools like Jenkins and RunDeck.
