Job Title: Agricultural Robotics Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled engineer to design and develop precision agricultural robotics systems.

Job Description:

As an Agricultural Robotics Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the brains and motion behind our laser targeting systems. This will involve developing high-precision gimbal & motor control systems for real-time laser targeting, implementing robust BLDC motor control algorithms (microsecond precision), integrating with the AI & perception team to connect weed detection with precision actuation, building sensor fusion pipelines combining IMU, GNSS, RTK, odometry, and custom sensors, testing and tuning control systems in real-world field conditions (dust, heat, vibrations, uneven terrain), scaling your work to multi-laser, multi-unit robotic platforms for agriculture, and implementing safety mechanisms, redundancy, and fail-safe protocols for field deployment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience with BLDC motor control and precision positioning systems, strong knowledge of control theory (PID, adaptive control, state-space), hands-on programming in C++/Python on embedded systems, experience with ROS/ROS2 and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet), and comfort working at the intersection of hardware + software + field testing.
