We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer. As a critical member of our engineering department, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable services.
Our philosophy is centered around a DevOps approach where every engineering team is responsible for the software they build and deploy. Our SREs ensure that teams have the tools, practices, and expertise needed to succeed in a blame-free culture.
Our mission is to enhance developers' experience by providing them with the tools to manage the entire software lifecycle and be self-sufficient.
To achieve this goal, we are building an internal Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) using cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes, Prometheus, Kotlin, and more. This platform is a vital component of our engineering effort, enabling us to deliver better, faster, and more reliable solutions for our customers.
Responsibilities:- Designing, building, hardening, and maintaining key parts of our internal platform.
- Migrating to industry-leading Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like GitHub Actions.
- Automating safe deployment practices using tools like GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Argo Rollouts, Helm Charts, etc.
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and other engineering processes.
- Coaching and up-skilling other engineering team members.
- Solving complex technical problems and seeing the immediate impact of your work.
- Automating every aspect of our infrastructure to minimize human intervention.
- Developing effective tooling, alerts, and responses to identify and address reliability risks.
- Driving protocols on production readiness and operational excellence.
- Partnering with product engineering teams to debug production outages and implement improvements.
- Advocating for automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery, feature toggles, and progressive rollouts.
- Planning for the growth of our infrastructure.
