Machine Learning Engineer: Video Processing Specialist

This role involves developing and implementing computer vision (CV) and machine learning (ML) algorithms for real-time video processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in C++ programming, Linux, and Git.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement software modules for on-device video capture, preprocessing, inference, and post-processing.
- Develop classical image processing pipelines and CV algorithms, including keypoint detection, homography estimation, and optical flow calculation.
- Build and optimize distance estimation models using monocular or stereo cameras and calibration techniques.
- Integrate ML models into DMS/ADAS events, such as drowsiness detection and phone usage monitoring.
- Collaborate with data and ML teams to curate datasets, label specifications, and model hand-off.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in modern C++ programming on Linux.
- Strong knowledge of image processing and computer vision fundamentals, including camera models and distortion correction.
- Practical experience integrating CV/ML models on device using OpenCV and ONNX Runtime.
- Ability to build real-time pipelines for live video, optimizing for latency and memory.
- Proficiency in multithreading and concurrency concepts.
- Comfort with debugging and profiling on Linux targets.
