US F&A General Ledger Accountant

About the Role

We are seeking highly qualified professionals with expertise in US F&A General Ledger (GL) to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform end-to-end US F&A GL month close tasks, including submission of Borrowing Compliance and Ratio Analysis.
  • Analyze and prepare Balance sheet, Income Statement and Accruals movements.
  • Guide the preparation of monthly financial accounts in line with SOPs and processes.
  • Prepare Annual Accounts and Finalize Accounts of Group Companies and Consolidated Accounts for the Company in line with US GAAP.
  • Monthly consolidation of group companies.
  • Assist in year-end books for audit purposes and liaise with auditors for interim and final audits.
  • Implement internal control systems in the department.
  • Provide regular updates to top management on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare detailed cash flow analyses as required.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.

Involved in formulation of various systems, policies, procedures, commensurate with the need of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Well-organized with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with management and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, including task prioritization, deadline management, and multitasking.
  • Exhibits good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptive to changes in the work setting.
  • Ability to manage work with offshore teams.
  • Knowledge in different Ratios, US GAAP, FCCS/EPM, Power BI, MS office.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 to 5 years of experience preferably Big 4.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
  • Work experience in staffing & IT software companies is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional client service, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively internally / externally.
