Are you a seasoned data engineer looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled professional to design and optimize data pipelines, cloud and big data solutions, data modeling and governance, leadership and collaboration, performance and security.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Airflow, Databricks, StreamSets, and Snowflake. They will also be responsible for architecting scalable platforms with AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Athena) and leveraging Spark, Kafka, Hive for processing.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Design: Build efficient data pipelines that meet business requirements.
  • Cloud & Big Data Solutions: Architect and implement scalable cloud-based platforms using AWS and other tools.
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Create robust schemas, ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR/HIPAA, and enforce security best practices.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, work with analysts & data scientists, and act as a technical architect in solution delivery.
  • Performance & Security: Optimize queries, implement role-based access control (RBAC) & IAM, and ensure disaster recovery/high availability standards.
Requirements:
  • Tech Stack Expertise: Programming languages: Python (primary), SQL (expert), Java (good-to-have). Platforms: AWS (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, S3), Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka. Tools: Airflow, StreamSets, DBT. Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, HBase.
  • Strong Experience: In data modeling, governance, and compliance. Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
