Shopify E-commerce Developer

We are seeking a talented e-commerce developer with experience in Shopify and JavaScript to fill this key role. As an e-commerce developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the client side of our Shopify e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate has experience with DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, and complex CSS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and customizing Shopify themes using DOM manipulation, asynchronous JavaScript, complex CSS, Liquid, and meta fields.
  • Synchronizing UI/UX designs with technical feasibility and optimizing them for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Creating reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Collaborating with the development team to ensure timely project completion.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies and applying them to development.

Required Skills:

  • Shopify experience
  • DOM manipulation
  • CSS expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Git
  • Liquid framework (A must)
  • Asynchronous JavaScript knowledge and experience
  • GraphQL
  • React JS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub.

Benefits:

  • This is a full-time remote opportunity with flexible hours from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm EST.
