Summary

A rapidly growing technology business is seeking a skilled Digital Technology Specialist to contribute to the next stage of its development. With a strong focus on backend technologies, this role will play a key part in shaping the company's platform and driving growth.

The successful candidate will join a talented team of developers and work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX Designers, and other specialists to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop scalable and secure backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using React and Next.js to complement backend capabilities.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code for both backend and frontend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Mentor junior team members and lead by example.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automate build and deployment processes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in building distributed backend systems using Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in developing user interfaces using React, Next.js, and modern frontend frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservice architecture, and API design.
  • Expertise in creating secure, scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.
  • Experience building responsive and intuitive UIs using React, Next.js, Redux, and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with database design, particularly with MySQL, for high-performance applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms for hosting, scaling, and monitoring applications.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example.
