Network Architect Lead

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, configuration, and maintenance of complex networks across multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative network designs, configurations, and implementations that meet business requirements.
  • Deploy robust networking environments by designing system configuration, directing system installation, and defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards for a global environment.
  • Collaborate with architects on network optimization and ensure that network design and implementation meets disaster recovery and continuity requirements.
  • Manage multi-vendor and multi-protocol networks and maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, and collaborating with architects.
  • Build reusable designs and systems that promote scale, reliability, security, and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years' experience in enterprise data center networking hardware and expert-level skills.
  • Experience with Cloud Hosting Technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and RackSpace.
  • Familiarity with server and storage infrastructure and how they integrate with the network.
  • Scripting experience such as shell scripting, Ansible, and Python.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, network hardware and software, IP management, password management, and network alerting.
  • Candidates are expected to exhibit good judgment in all cases and be comfortable making decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work outside normal business hours when needed.
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar experience.
