Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Engineer with a strong background in C# and Selenium to spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks for web and API testing.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building robust automation solutions, working collaboratively in Agile teams, and leveraging tools like Jira for test management and defect tracking.

The role involves creating detailed test cases, test data, and documentation for automation coverage, as well as identifying test automation opportunities and contributing to the automation strategy and roadmap.

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver
  • Write and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and regression testing
  • Develop JavaScript-based automation scripts where required for front-end validations
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases
  • Perform defect management, tracking, and reporting using Jira
Required Skills & Qualifications

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation
  • Strong programming skills in C# (must-have)
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for automation scripting and front-end testing
  • Experience with Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Good knowledge of API testing (REST/Soap) and tools like Postman or RestSharp (C# libraries)
  • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
