Job Description:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to join our Global Finance Operations Centre. As part of this role, you will support day-to-day activities in the Record-to-Report (RTR) function, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for decision-making purposes.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, posting journal entries, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Additionally, you will ensure compliance with company policies, reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts, and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
  • Your key stakeholders will include internal BCG functions and local finance teams located in multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General Ledger & Transaction Processing: Post journal entries, maintain accurate accounting records, and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Process Financial Transactions: Ensure compliance with company policies while processing financial transactions, such as accruals and adjustments.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting: Reconcile balance sheet and expense accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Fixed Assets & Depreciation: Track, manage, and reconcile fixed assets and depreciation schedules to ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, fixed assets and lease accounting, accrual/prepaid accounting and reconciliations, month end/year end close, accounting systems and procedures, consolidation of financials, audit controls and governance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business.
  • Proficiency in Oracle (GL, Fixed Assets, and AP), Hyperion, SAP Business Objects, MS Access, and other comparable ERP systems is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and/or experience with other analytical tools, such as Tableau or Alteryx, will be an added advantage.
