Job Title: Senior QA Analyst
Location: Hyderabad, Indore, Bangalore, or Gurgoan
Experience: 5-10 years
Shift Timing: 11:30 am to 8:30 pm (IST)
Responsibilities:
- Implement and oversee the test automation approach to deliver the Test Automation Strategy, including CICD, non-functional testing - performance, security engineering, compatibility, and accessibility testing.
- Drive improvements and innovation around tooling, frameworks, and approaches working on shift left first principles and the automation pyramid.
- Collaborate with POD leads and Squad leads to ensure the best value is driven through the automation approach and that it is consistent with other PODs where beneficial.
- Work with the POD leads and business/POs to ensure a holistic and consistent approach to Quality, including RCA, metrics, code quality, defect stage containment, cross communication, and collaboration on QA best practices, risks, and open issues across other PODs.
- Lead the overall test approach to the Squads, including built-in quality, metrics, methods, and tools.
- Lead process improvement initiatives focused on Quality, Velocity, and Efficiency, closer alignment to business acceptance, operations, etc.
- Ensure consistency across all squads in line with POD strategy/maturity/priorities/global approach, undertaking quality reviews and deep dives to ensure a consistent approach.
- Contribute to PI planning and subsequent resourcing planning, including skills profiling and identifying training requirements for POD members.
- Identify supplier training requirements and feed into global KPI and supplier measures.
- Provide timely reports with qualitative and quantitative analysis of test coverage, defect trends, and leakage enabling key stakeholders, including Squad leaders, for timely course correction.
- Define and design quality metrics and dashboards to enable the Pod lead and PO to frequently gauge the quality of the software.
- Manage a team of Test Engineer leads and Test analysts.
Mandatory Skills:
- A strong understanding of Test Engineering and Quality Assurance best practices, tools, and policies.
- The ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues in a cross-functional environment.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering Quality software solutions.
- Strong Leadership skills and a team player.
- Experience or knowledge of working with Agile at Scale, Lean, and Continuous Delivery approaches such as Continuous Integration, Test-Driven Development, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience in selenium tools and Configuring Selenium Test Environment.
- Familiarity with Automation Framework Design and Implementation.
- An understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Good communication skills.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Selenium-C#, MSSQL, API test automation, Azure DevOps/TFS, GitHub or Bitbucket, Jira.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
