About the Position

This role will be part of our collaborative engineering team, working closely with product and data science experts to design, build, and scale robust backend systems.

You will contribute to developing APIs, integrating third-party systems, and maintaining complex financial systems, ensuring seamless interactions with our frontend clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing scalable API architectures for mobile applications.
  • Integrating with various third-party services, including payment systems, identity providers, and messaging platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop new financial products and features.
  • Ensuring the scalability and reliability of our backend services to meet growing traffic demands.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3-8 years) in building backend software for web-based or mobile products.
  • Familiarity with modern AI tools and techniques for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong understanding of software development fundamentals, including distributed systems, data storage, and agile methodologies.
  • A pragmatic approach combining technical expertise and product knowledge to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, recognizing the importance of teamwork in achieving project goals.
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable data architectures that integrate disparate data sources.
  • A strong command of data modeling and organization best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with toolsets similar to dbt, Airflow, Snowflake, Metabase, etc.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language like Python.
