Business Finance Manager

About the Role

The Business Finance Manager plays a vital role in driving financial performance and business outcomes. This individual will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and operational strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Insights: Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with operations, sales, marketing, and product teams on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly reporting processes. Analyze variances between actuals, forecasts, and budgets, and present findings with actionable insights.
  • Performance Tracking: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and business drivers.
  • Dashboards and Reports: Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
  • Spends Monitoring: Monitor spends and ensure alignment with financial targets.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management.
  • Business Case Analysis: Conduct business case analysis, ROI modeling, and scenario planning.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CPA/CFA is a plus).
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in business finance, FP&A.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under tight deadlines.

  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen and understanding of operational metrics.
  • Communication: Ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in similar industry is a plus
