Simulation Engineer Role

We seek a skilled Simulation Engineer with expertise in HVDC technology and simulation software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support global projects by adapting HVDC base control protection software.
  • Develop control and protection functions solutions for future HVDC technologies.
  • Perform power system protection control studies using EMT tools to optimize fault detection algorithms and setting philosophies.
  • Resolve issues related to control and protection functions in projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across business units to optimize HVDC solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics with 2-5 years of experience in control and protection systems.
  • Knowledge in PSCAD, MATLAB, or other simulation software.
  • Familiarity with IEEE IEC standards.
  • Experience in substation environments and protection applications.
  • A self-starter who can own tasks through completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
