Information Security Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and responding to security alerts, conducting threat hunting and vulnerability assessments, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and incidents, and respond promptly to potential threats.
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Implement corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of product delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in information security or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, systems, and methodologies.
- Fundamental programming/scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
