At Sentient Solutions for Accounting, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way accounting outsourcing firms operate. Our team of experts based in the US, India, and Mexico offer customized solutions that cater to the unique needs of CPA Firms.

We're looking for a skilled Tax Manager to join our team in Hyderabad. As a key member of our Tax team, you'll be responsible for building and nurturing positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations.

About the Role:

  • You'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
  • You'll have the opportunity to develop new skills outside of your comfort zone and take ownership of your personal development.
  • You'll be responsible for addressing sub-standard work or work that doesn't meet firm/client expectations and focus on delivering quality results.
  • You'll use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
  • You'll uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
  • You'll perform a detailed review of the work done by Seniors and Associates and provide constructive feedback.
  • You'll work/share knowledge on Tax Technical skills and improve the quality of the work Team.
  • You'll effectively work in an outsourced environment and exercise professional skepticism and judgment.
  • You'll participate in a range of projects and collaborate with multiple teams, demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work.

Requirements:

  • You must have a Master's/Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • You should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in US Taxation.
  • You should be fluent in English and understand language in the social and cultural context of the US.
  • You should have experience handling a team in a previous firm.
  • You should have experience with a regional or Big 4 accounting firm.
  • You should have proven relationship management skills and experience establishing rapport, trust, and confidence with key stakeholders.
  • You should be able to manage and motivate teams with members at all levels.
  • You should have facilitated training for staff and seniors.
  • You should have experience working independently on multiple assignments or engagements, even in a virtual environment.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,000,000 per annum, depending on experience.
