Senior Financial Strategist Position

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving organisational growth and managing high-performing finance teams. The role involves overseeing all financial aspects of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Drive financial modeling for business initiatives and investments.
  • Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure optimization.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Presents financial results to stakeholders, investors, and board members.
  • Champion financial best practices across the organisation.
  • Support fundraising activities and investor relations.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Oversee financial due diligence for business development opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
  • Previous CFO or similar C-level financial leadership experience.
  • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven track record managing teams and driving organisational growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in finance with deep understanding of project-based revenue recognition and billing models, managed services and subscription-based revenue streams, resource utilisation metrics and project profitability analysis, offshore/onshore delivery model financials, technology infrastructure investments and depreciation, client contract structures including time & materials, fixed-price, and outcome-based pricing, international finance experience, particularly in global finance models, experience with M&A transactions in the finance sector, and strong investor relations background in finance companies.
