Automation Testing and Playwright Specialist

This role focuses on developing automated testing frameworks using cutting-edge technologies, ensuring seamless integration into the development process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain test automation scripts using JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging tools like Playwright.
  • Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing and deployment processes.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools, including Playwright, Protractor, Cucumber, and Selenium, ensuring expertise in multiple frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages, preferably JavaScript and TypeScript, allowing for efficient automation script development.
  • Knowledge of REST Assured and API testing, enabling comprehensive coverage of software functionality.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins and Bamboo, ensuring streamlined testing and deployment processes.
  • Experience with test management solutions, including Xray and JIRA, facilitating effective issue tracking and resolution.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies, promoting flexible adaptation to changing requirements.
  • Knowledge of TestNG and Maven, enhancing automation script development and deployment efficiency.
  • Experience with testing of Appium, Mobile web, and Mobile hybrid applications, expanding testing capabilities to diverse environments.
