Job Opportunity: Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Specialist to join our team.

  • To develop and manage a software test automation framework, with experience in managing a team of testers.
  • Analyze software requirements and design test scenarios and cases, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Write automation scripts for documented test specifications, utilizing programming languages such as C# and JavaScript.
  • Proficient in estimating test effort and planning, as well as manual and automation testing.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and debugging skills.
  • Experience working with GUI object recognition and customization tools.
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools and processes, including version control systems and continuous integration pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and configuration management tools like ClearCase.
  • Create comprehensive test documentations, including test specifications, impact analyses, and defect reports.
  • Provide detailed test reports, including defect analysis, root cause analysis, and summary reports.
  • Responsible for creating automated test scripts for non-functional and functional requirements, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and business partners, to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor automation processes and contribute to manual testing on demand, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare result reports, defect status reports, and document all bug issues, utilizing project management tools.

You will make a valuable contribution by

  • Actively contributing to improving overall product testability and release quality.
  • Being conversant with typical software development processes and methodologies, with experience working in global teams.
  • Implementing and developing automated test practices for both software and hardware, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Integrating test suites into the test management system, using tools like TFS.
  • Configuring and maintaining Siemens hardware components, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain automated nightly build verification (smoke) tests and unit tests.
  • Providing solutions to achieve continuous integration and delivery, utilizing DevOps best practices.
  • Having good knowledge of mainstream development languages like C# and JavaScript.
