Job Summary

Financial Operations Specialist

GrowthJockey is a leading venture architect building AI-powered digital startups for large enterprises. We leverage intellsys.ai, a proprietary AdTech platform to empower startups and global brands to optimize growth with precision and efficiency.

You will play a critical role in ensuring financial discipline, compliance, and strategic insights that power high-growth businesses as a Financial Operations Specialist.

  • Manage accounting, bookkeeping, and financial records on a daily basis.
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare MIS reports, P&L statements, and monthly financial dashboards.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for ventures.
  • Ensure compliance with taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and statutory filings.
  • Assist in audits, financial documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with business teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.
  • Implement internal financial controls to drive efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Support finance setup for new business units.

You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including AI, machine learning, and automation. We value ownership, learning, and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce or professional qualification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounts, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally, Zoho Books.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, financial models).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Knowledge of startup/venture finance.
  • Exposure to investor reporting and fundraising processes.
  • Experience in automation tools for finance operations.
