Job Title: Electrical Design Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced electrical design specialist to develop and implement Building Management Systems (BMS), Chiller plant Automation, Fire detection, PA, Telecom and Security system for Data Center or Industrial Projects.
  • Our ideal candidate will conceptualize design at the preliminary stage by understanding project requirements following relevant codes & standards.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for selecting best-suited instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm and security system design.
  • The candidate will prepare/review Basis of Design, BMS IO summary, Sequence of operations for various systems, cause & effect matrix for Fire alarm system.
  • Detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts will also be a part of this role.
  • Tender documents with relevant design, Technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets and BOQ as per requirement will need to be prepared.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by various vendors/contractors.
  • Evaluate and perform design reviews and participate in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Data Center Master Plan, Concept, Schematics is necessary.
  • A fair understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers is required.
  • Hands-on experience of Indian and International codes for the design is essential.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination skills are a must.
  • Self-driven with good management & reporting capabilities.
  • Understanding on TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers is necessary.
  • Knowledge of 3D engineering, proficiency in review of 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of IS/IEC standards is necessary.
