Hands-On Cybersecurity Engineer

Kryptsec is a pioneering cybersecurity training platform that empowers users to develop real-world skills through immersive, interactive labs.


The Role: Lead Cybersecurity Lab Developer

You will play a pivotal role in designing and building practical, containerized security labs for web, infrastructure, cloud, and AI-related attack surfaces. You'll collaborate closely with the founding team to create content that's technically rich, accessible, and impactful.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop hands-on, real-world cybersecurity labs using Docker and containerized services
  • Create lab environments, walkthroughs, and scoring logic for a wide range of security topics
  • Compose clear, concise technical content (prompts, hints, docs)
  • Collaborate with engineers to deploy labs in Kubernetes-based infrastructure
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and help define future content architecture

Essential Skills:
  • Deep expertise in at least one security domain (e.g., LLM/AI security, web app security, cloud security, or red teaming)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker (building, testing, deploying containers)
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Passion for cybersecurity education and practical, scenario-based learning

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience creating CTF challenges, cyber labs, or training modules
  • Security consulting or red team background
