Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the accounting department, maintaining diligent financial process control, and driving efficiency and resilience to growth.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Supports the finance team in managing accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  • Works closely with the accounting department to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Takes ownership of duties and tasks assigned, ensuring all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner
  • Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where hotel initiatives & targets are achieved
  • Collaborates with colleagues to ensure costs and inventory are controlled, productivity and performance levels are attained
  • Builds and maintains effective working relationships while promoting the company culture and values

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounting beneficial but not essential
  • Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
  • Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
  • Strong communication skills
