We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to build scalable, event-driven data pipelines that support real-time clinical workflows.
As a key member of our AI and Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating the backbone of our AI-powered applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement efficient data pipelines that enable real-time clinical workflows.
- Integrate with electronic health record systems using standards like FHIR and HL7.
- Develop reliable systems to ingest, track, and update clinical events in real-time.
- Ensure high-quality, structured data is delivered to machine learning systems for inference and decision support.
- Implement observability, monitoring, and error handling for robust pipeline performance.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers to align data flows with model requirements.
- 5+ years of experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines.
- Strong background in workflow orchestration and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with relational databases and SQL as well as handling unstructured data.
- Experience operating in cloud environments and working with distributed systems.
- Track record of delivering data infrastructure that supports machine learning applications.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare data security and privacy requirements.
- Knowledge of FHIR and HL7 data modeling.
- Experience supporting machine learning inference pipelines.
- Expertise with image data processing.
- Familiarity with vector databases and document retrieval systems.
