About this role
We're looking for a skilled data engineer to join our team and take on the challenge of unlocking hidden value in marketing platforms.
The mission is to extract every possible byte of data from these platforms, uncovering the 90% of capabilities that others often overlook.
As a data engineer, your focus will be on building real-time monitoring datasets to detect anomalies, pacing issues, and creative decay.
Key responsibilities include reverse-engineering APIs across various platforms, exploiting beta features and undocumented endpoints, capturing ephemeral data, and building granular spend and performance datasets with dayparting metrics.
You'll also work on developing lookalike audience models enriched with seed performance, overlap scores, and fatigue indicators, as well as creating auction intelligence datasets with hour/geo/placement granularity and bid behaviors.
In addition, you'll design optimization datasets for portfolio performance, campaign cannibalization, and creative lifecycle decay, extract machine learning signals from Meta Advantage+ and TikTok optimization logs, and build competitive intelligence datasets with SOV trends and auction pressure.
To succeed in this role, you'll need advanced Python skills for API extraction, automation, and orchestration, JavaScript proficiency for tracking and GTM customization, and expert-level experience with GA4 implementation and data handling.
You should also have hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning and scaling, and be comfortable working with S3 and data lakes for semi/unstructured data.
Bonus points if you have experience with dbt for transformation and modeling, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, knowledge of vector databases, familiarity with GPU computing, and data app development using R Shiny or Streamlit.
