Robotics Automation Specialist

As a key member of our robotics and automation team, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and progress in your discipline.

Your Responsibilities
  • You will act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity.
  • You will be responsible for completing assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner.
  • You will apply basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.

You will be accountable for:

  • Managing and monitoring project during whole execution period until getting final approval.
  • Understanding electrical panels drawings in Auto CAD, E-Plan software.
  • Controlling pneumatic design, defining bill of materials and being able to do controls costing for project.
  • Preparing bill of materials for electrical panels, sensors and cables.
  • Following up with vendors and customers for materials procurement, resolving technical issues and service support etc.
Qualifications for the Role
  • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of working experience (minimum two years of experience in PLC/HMI programming in Rockwell & Siemens).
  • Hands-on experience in Rockwell PLC/HMI software (RS Logix 5000, Studio 5000, Factory Talk view).
  • Knowledge of reading electrical drawings, inspecting panels, identifying and correcting mistakes, and updating electrical drawings as per field requirements.
  • PLC knowledge in Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi.
  • Exposure to working with automotive customers, preferably body-in-white lines.
