Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Data Governance expert to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data compliance and scalability across the business.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with experience in managing matrix organizations. They will need to navigate complex organizational structures to engage with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective data risk management strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and scalability.
  • Build and execute roadmaps for target maturity plans, leveraging global processes and guidelines.
  • Lead data risks committees and ensure appropriate governance is in place for data assurance and scalability.
  • Report functionally to executives on program progress, data privacy and protection verification of controls, maturity assessments, and KPIs.
  • Closely work with legal, compliance, procurement, and IT/Security leaders.
  • Recruit and animate country DPandP networks and bear accountability for execution of functions' work plans.
  • Maintain processing registers, provide privacy notices, collect consent where required, and include appropriate clauses into supplier contracts.
  • Elevate issues as single point of contact/escalation and liaison for core Data Excellence Team to assess progress of execution steps and remove roadblocks.
