Master Pastry Craftsman

The Baker Tournant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Bakery Shop. This includes controlling daily production according to company policies, managing quality and presentation of bread products, and assisting with forecasts and leftovers.

In addition to these tasks, the Baker Tournant is responsible for maintaining a clean bakery shop, ensuring compliance with USPH regulations, and preparing the bakery for inspections.

This role also involves requisitioning and transporting necessary items from main stores to the bakery shop, as well as ensuring recipes and yields meet company standards.

• A minimum of three years' experience as a Baker in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment.
• Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required.
