Job Purpose:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our branch. This includes executing all aspects related to branch operations in a timely and effective manner, ensuring effective customer service, and achieving own targets and supporting the achievement of the branch target through effective upselling and cross-selling to customers.

Key Accountabilities:
You will contribute to the efficient operation of the branch through accurate and timely processing of customer-related transactions and account maintenance. You will also ensure the achievement of own targets and support branch target achievement through effective upselling and cross-selling to customers, and support the branch operations officer in book-keeping and maintenance of documents.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
You will ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and bank policies for all processes related to banking transactions. This includes processing cash transactions, transfer transactions, and clearing of instruments, as well as receiving and processing cheques, demand drafts, dividend warrants, pay orders, and other instruments. You will also process requests for new account opening, transaction updation, and customer service requests, and respond to customer service account inquiries such as account balances, transaction details, statements, and fees/charges. Additionally, you will address customer queries and grievances within defined timelines and escalate when required to the appropriate authorities.

Required Experience:
2-4 years of banking experience is required for this role.

Education / Preferred Qualifications:
A graduate degree in banking or commerce is preferred.

Core Competencies:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role. You must be able to build strong relationships with clients, be responsible, and able to meet deadlines. Knowledge of internal and external regulations is also required.

Technical Competencies:
Good computer knowledge is necessary for this role.

Work Relationship:
You must be a team player, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
