Integration Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled integration specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integration solutions using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

The role involves:

  • Designing, developing, testing, and deploying integration flows using IBM Integration Bus (IIB).
  • Developing and maintaining message flows, ESQL, JavaCompute nodes, and other integration components.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and architects to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to middleware and integration components.
  • Performing unit testing, integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Monitoring and optimizing the performance of integration solutions.
  • Documenting design, development, and operational procedures.
  • Working with other middleware technologies and tools as needed (e.g., MQ, REST/SOAP services).
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • SUPPORTING PRODUCTION DEPLOYMENTS AND PROVIDING POST-DEPLOYMENT SUPPORT.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IIB Developer with hands-on experience in IBM Integration Bus (v9, v10, or later).
  • Strong knowledge of ESQL, Java, and message flow development.
  • Experience with WebSphere MQ (MQ Series) and messaging concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Understanding of middleware architecture and integration patterns.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, and related data transformation techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex integration issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
