Senior Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Cyber Transformation Consultant. As part of our team, you will be responsible for executing deliverables in various capacities. This includes working effectively as a team member, sharing responsibilities, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
You will be required to help prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties. A solution-based approach to problem-solving is essential, along with reviewing working papers and client folders to suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identifying opportunities for improving client service.
Additionally, you will manage engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution/methodology development. Travel to customer locations may be necessary on occasion.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI layer concepts and protocols, networking and security concepts is mandatory.
- Familiarity with OS (Windows/Linux) security and Database security is also required.
- A strong understanding of cyber/information security concepts, risk and controls concepts is necessary.
- Experience with IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, IPS, etc. is expected.
- Understanding of architectures is crucial.
- Bonus points for knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities related to platform and infrastructure.
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills are highly valued.
- Highly flexible, adaptable, and creative individuals are encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives within the firm and at the client is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility are essential.
