Backend Developer Role Summary

The role involves building robust data pipelines that power real-time pricing engines, decoding smart contract events, and implementing pricing logic from decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Go or Rust, a strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs, and expertise in building data extraction or indexing tools.

The successful candidate will own the development of event decoders for major DeFi protocols, build and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data, and implement logic to calculate trade prices.

Responsibilities include working closely with data and infra teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines, optimizing performance and accuracy of pricing models, and writing clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in backend development in Go or Rust.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols and understanding of AMM math, constant product formulas, and Uniswap V3 ticks.
  • Understanding of EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
