Key Role: Senior Manager

The successful candidate will lead a team of Group Operations professionals in processing new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a challenging role that requires exceptional leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing teams, implementing process improvements, and delivering operational efficiency.

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating with Sales and Actuarial teams to close individual Group processes, issuing policies, and resolving customer and intermediary queries.

You will also provide exceptional customer service to intermediaries and customers, ensuring compliance with established procedures, and contributing to process improvements.

A key aspect of this role is to implement and maintain quality and quantity controls to aid proactive management and problem anticipation.

You will supervise and train a high-performing team to meet the business needs of the organization, coordinate with finance for policy account balance reconciliation, and lead transformation and digitization efforts for group business.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills, as well as good operations experience in the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will also have a Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field, and a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations departments.

Associate of Insurance Institute certification is preferred, but not required.

Requirements:

  • MBA/ACII or equivalent
  • Minimum 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations departments
  • Associate of Insurance Institute preferred

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Good operations experience in the financial services industry
  • Group Operations department experience within an Insurance company is essential
  • Data processing experience to deliver operational efficiency
  • Proficiency in using databases, office management software, word processors, and spreadsheets
  • Strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills
