Full Stack Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented developer to work on a major digital transformation initiative that will revolutionize post-trade processing at a leading Investment Bank.

The successful candidate will design and build the next generation of business applications using the latest technologies, collaborate with stakeholders to develop best-in-class solutions, and contribute to the development of a new set of platform capabilities in the 'Digital Core' that will enable real-time processing, analytics, and structured workflow.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive the development of new platform capabilities in the Digital Core
  2. Provide technology solutions that solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
  3. Interact consistently with key stakeholders in Operations to ensure we are delivering the right thing
  4. Contribute to skill-aligned chapter constructs working across the Digital Operations platform
  5. Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives
  6. Conduct code reviews and test software as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Java software engineer
  • Strong skills in Core Java, Collections, and Java 8 features such as Lambda Expressions and Streams
  • Extensive experience with Spring Framework (Core / Boot / Integration)
  • Good knowledge of design patterns applicable to data streaming
  • Experience with Apache Flink/Apache Kafka and the ELK stack is highly desirable
  • Experience with Flowable or similar BPMN/CMMN tooling is also highly desirable
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular/JavaScript/React/Redux
  • Familiarity with CI/CD (TeamCity/Jenkins), Git/GitHub/GitLab
  • Familiarity with Docker/containerization technologies
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure
  • A proven track record in an agile SDLC in a large-scale enterprise environment
