Job Opportunity: Data Engineer

We are seeking highly skilled Data Engineers to join our team in a challenging role that involves designing and developing large-scale data systems. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in data engineering, analytics, and software development to drive business growth and improve decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Snowflake, Databricks, PySpark, and SQL databases.
  • Design and implement data models, architectures, and data warehouses using NoSQL and SQL databases, DynamoDB, PowerBI, and AWS Services.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Maintain and improve existing data systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of building and managing data solutions.
  • Expertise in analytic data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake (knowledge of Snowflake Cortex is a plus) and Databricks SQL.
  • Strong proficiency in ETL tools such as SSIS and knowledge of big data frameworks like Cloudera.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in PySpark for data processing and transformation.
  • Experience with various databases and file formats, including MS SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, AWS S3, JSON, CSV, XML, and Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Experience with version control systems like GitHub and SVN.
  • Familiarity with ticket tracking systems like Jira.
  • Experience with development environments such as Visual Studio and SSMS.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
