Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished finance professional to lead our accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will oversee the management of accounts payable, end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable (AP):

Bill Processing and Payment Application Management: Oversee the daily AP processes including bill processing, accounting, and payment applications.

Timely Vendor Invoice Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.

  • End-to-End Accounting:

Daily Accounting Functions: Manage daily accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, and transaction recording.

Month-End and Year-End Financial Closing: Handle month-end and year-end financial closing with accuracy.

  • Statutory Compliance:

Monthly TDS and GST Workings: Prepare monthly TDS and GST workings for compliance.

Financial Regulations and Tax Laws: Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and tax laws.

  • Cost Allocation:

Inter-Company Accounting and Reporting: Manage and monitor cost allocation across multiple entities ensuring accurate inter-company accounting and reporting.

  • Reporting and Reconciliation:

Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Profit & Loss Statements: Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations and Profit & Loss Statements on a monthly basis.

Financial Planning and Analysis Support: Support management in financial planning and analysis by conducting periodic variance analysis and reporting.

  • Tools and Technical Proficiency:

MS Excel Expertise: Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, etc.).

Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Suite: Hands-on experience with Zoho Books or Zoho Finance Suite is highly desired.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in core accounting and finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting standards.
  • Individual contributor with high attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
