Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Databricks to design scalable, high-performance data pipelines that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR) and Databricks for large-scale datasets.
  • Build and optimize ETL processes for big data projects.
  • Utilize Databricks for advanced analytics and machine learning workloads to drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Implement data governance, quality checks, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness of data solutions through continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS cloud services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with S3, Redshift, Glue, and EMR.
  • Expertise in Databricks (PySpark, Delta Lake) for big data processing.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and querying.
  • Strong understanding of big data frameworks and architectures.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools to manage complex data workflows.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are desirable:

  • Familiarity with MLOps integration within Databricks.
  • Experience with real-time/streaming data for up-to-date insights.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code practices for efficient deployment.
  • Exposure to data security best practices for sensitive data handling.
