Our organization is seeking a skilled Data or Business Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing master data sets, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage master data creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Configure user access and roles.
  • Verify data quality and collaborate with quality assurance analysts if necessary.
  • Initiate and decommission data sets.
  • Handle confidential data in accordance with guidelines.
  • Contribute to report development and analysis.
  • Design and maintain the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Support the data warehouse in identifying and revising reporting requirements.
  • Promote data integrity and normalization initiatives.
  • Assess tests and implement new software features.
  • Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Provide training on new reports and dashboards.
  • Offer expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited university or college.
  • Work experience as a Data or Business Analyst or in a related field.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide recommendations.
  • Capacity to translate business requirements into lay terms.
  • High-level experience in methodologies and processes for managing large-scale databases.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
  • Understanding of addressing and metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
