Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, with a strong background in civil engineering and postgraduate degree in structural engineering.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide structural design and engineering inputs for social infrastructure projects (schools, hospitals, community centers, sanitation facilities, water supply structures, etc.).
    • Review and finalize structural designs, drawings, and detailed estimates.
    • Carry out structural analysis and ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, and applicable international standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
  • Graduated in Civil Engineering and post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD).
  • Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and international guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong documentation, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

Prior Experience:

  • Prior experience in DPR preparation for social infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in both government and donor-funded assignments.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and disaster-resilient design practices.
