Job Overview

  • We are seeking a skilled professional to set up and manage a clustered Liferay Portal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Configuration:
    • Establish a reliable and scalable Liferay Portal setup on Tomcat and JBOSS servers.
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement robust security measures, including audit logging and user role management.
  • Customization and Development:
    • Customize and utilize out-of-the-box portlets to enhance the user experience.
  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Liferay environment, ensuring optimal performance and stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in software analysis, development, maintenance, and support.
  • Detailed knowledge of Liferay development, including hooks, themes, layouts, portlets, and external plugins.
  • Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Liferay/Java design patterns.
  • Familiarity with LDAP and Liferay auto login process.
  • Excellent understanding of SOAP and Restful web services and WS-Security configuration.
  • Proficiency in RDBMS, MVC frameworks, ORM tools, and web servers.
